Senior Product Manager (Plus Rewards)

NerdWallet is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the NerdWallet+ team as we continue to build out our rewards program. As the Senior Product Manager for the Rewards pod, you will be responsible for guiding the roadmap which focuses on evolving the rewards program for NW+ members - what it means in practice to get rewarded for smart financial decisions. This role will work closely with a variety of internal teams including marketing, research, engineering, product design, quality assurance, and program management, to ensure the seamless execution of product initiatives and keep stakeholders informed of our evolving business needs. Being able to articulate product ideas, strategies, and consumer needs to both technical and non-technical peers at all levels is essential.
As a strategic member of the team you will gain a deep understanding of consumer insights and use those insights to drive product innovation and personalization for our consumers. To be successful in this role you need to excel at market analysis, project management and performance monitoring to deliver strong business results.

Where you can make an impact: 

  • Develop and execute the product strategy for NerdWallet+ rewards
  • Ensure that products are relevant and valuable to the target audience with a deep understanding of the financial profiles, goals, and challenges of expected consumers to drive product innovation and personalization
  • Create and seamlessly execute on roadmaps for successful product launches and updates by partnering with data, engineering, marketing, and editorial teams
  • Identify new opportunities for product development and enhancement by analyzing market trends, consumer feedback, and performance data 
  • Lead product development projects from concept to launch, including defining requirements, setting timelines, and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, implement A/B tests and other optimization strategies to improve user engagement and conversion rates
  • Stand in the shoes of our consumer: empathize with the audience we are building for and always bring consumer insight to the table to create intuitive, delightful, and valuable product experiences
  • Be a leader on your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to ensure long-term success

Your experience:

We recognize not everyone will meet all of the criteria. If you meet most of the criteria below and you’re excited about the opportunity and willing to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
  • 7+ years in product management, preferably in a consumer internet or financial technology company 
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading products to success and driving significant business outcomes. Strong ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in using data analytics tools to derive actionable insights. Experience with A/B testing, SEO, and performance marketing is a plus
  • Technical Understanding: Ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand technical concepts
  • Experience with data science and machine learning is a plus

Base pay offered may vary within the posted range based on several factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
The pay range for this role is $124,000$222,000 USD
