With a 15-month introductory 0% APR period for purchases and balance transfers and a $0 annual fee, the Capital One® Platinum Prestige Credit Card was a fair option for financing a big-ticket purchase or paying down credit card debt.
The card is no longer on the market, however. So what are your options? Depends on what you were looking for in the Capital One® Platinum Prestige Credit Card:
A "Platinum" card from Capital One? The only "Platinum"-labeled products in the Capital One credit card portfolio are the Capital One Platinum Credit Card and the Capital One Platinum Secured Credit Card The first is more of a starter card aimed at people with fair or average credit; the second is a secured card for those with bad credit. Neither comes with a 0% introductory period.
A Capital One card with a 0% period? Capital One does offer an introductory 0% period on a few of its rewards cards, including the Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card, the Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card and the Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card - Miles Boost. Not all of these cards offer a 0% period for balance transfers, though, so make sure you read the terms carefully.
A long 0% period? Several cards offer long 0% periods for purchases. See our roundup of the best 0% APR cards here.
A balance transfer credit card? See our roundup of the best balance transfer cards.
