The Choice Privileges credit cards — two hotel cards issued by Wells Fargo — have temporarily increased their sign-up bonuses in a major way. Offers vary depending on the website where you apply for the cards, but all of them are at least 20,000 points higher than the standard sign-up bonuses. Here are the offers available on NerdWallet, for a limited time:

The $0-annual-fee Choice Privileges® Mastercard®:

• Earn 60,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 in purchases in the first 3 months. That’s enough to redeem for up to seven reward nights at select Choice Hotels properties.

The card will continue to earn the following ongoing rewards:

• 5 points per $1 spent on stays at participating Choice Hotels.

• 3 points per $1 spent on purchases at gas stations, grocery stores, home improvement stores and phone plans.

• 1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases.

The $95-annual-fee Choice Privileges® Select Mastercard®:

• Earn 90,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 in purchases in the first 3 months. That’s enough to redeem for up to 11 reward nights at select Choice Hotels properties.

The card's ongoing rewards structure remains unchanged:

• 10 points per $1 spent on stays at participating Choice Hotels.

• 5 points per $1 spent on purchases as gas stations, grocery stores, home improvement stores and phone plans.

• 1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases.

Note that you may not qualify for these bonus offers if you opened either Choice Privileges credit card within the past 15 months and received a sign-up bonus.

Are these bonuses good deals?

Yes, these elevated sign-up bonuses are excellent deals for those who stay at one of the many hotels under the Choice Hotels umbrella, which includes more than 7,000 properties. As rewards rates start around 8,000 points per night, the sign-up bonuses are worth seven to 11 nights at a Choice Privileges property. That’s a lot of free nights for a relatively low spending requirement on both welcome offers.
