The Evergreen by FNBO Credit Card offers simple, straightforward cash-back rewards on all purchases, with no limits on how much you can earn. However, you must live in a state with a First National Bank of Omaha branch location to be eligible for the card.

Here are five things to know about the Evergreen Credit Card.

1. It earns a solid cash-back rate

The Evergreen Credit Card earns 2% cash back on all purchases, with no limit on how much cash back you can earn. That makes it a good option if you want the simplicity of using just one credit card. It can also be paired with other cards that earn 3% back or more in specific spending categories, so no matter what, you always earn at least 2% back.

2. There’s a sign-up bonus

As of this writing, new cardholders can earn a $200 cash bonus after spending $1,000 within the first 3 months. That puts it on par with other cash-back cards that offer welcome bonuses and similar reward rates on purchases.

3. You can redeem rewards in several ways

You can redeem your earned rewards as a statement credit, deposit into a checking or savings account, or a check mailed to you. If you opt for a direct deposit, it can go into an account with any financial institution, not just one with FNBO. Rewards don’t expire.

4. There’s no annual fee

Like other similar cash-back cards, the Evergreen Credit Card charges a $0 annual fee.

5. You must live in certain states

Here’s the catch: To apply for the Evergreen Credit Card, you must live in an area with an FNBO branch. This includes Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming.

If you live outside of these states, consider other cards that earn 2% cash back, like the Wells Fargo Active Cash® Card, which has a $0 annual fee and this welcome offer: Earn a $200 cash rewards bonus after spending $500 in purchases in the first 3 months.
