From Jan. 23 to Mar. 3, 2025, the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card and Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card will have new, limited-time sign-up bonuses. The Bold’s new welcome offer is especially notable, as it’s at least twice the value of the standard bonus.

The Bonvoy Bold’s limited-time bonus for new cardholders is as follows: Earn 60,000 bonus points and one free night (valued up to 50,000 points) after spending $2,000 in the first 3 months from account opening. NerdWallet estimates the average value of one Marriott Bonvoy point at 0.9 cents when redeemed for hotel stays, so 60,000 points can be worth about $540. That’s a terrific value for a $0-annual-fee travel card.

The changes to the Boundless credit card’s welcome offer are less impressive compared with the Bold. The new sign-up bonus is a $150 statement credit after making a first purchase, plus 100,000 points after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. NerdWallet estimates the total value of the welcome offer is around $1,050 if you were to use the points to book a hotel stay.

That's still a lot of value, but the previous Boundless sign-up bonus was a cache of 150,000 points after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first three months, or a value of about $1,350 based on NerdWallet valuations. This offer, however, didn't feature the easy-to-grab $150 statement credit.

Points are worth around 0.8 cent each when redeemed this way.
