What exclusive events are offered?
Besides using Capital One rewards to buy tickets to an estimated half-million events, Capital One will also make available exclusives like:
Sports: VIP packages, athlete meet-and-greets and more.
Music: Artist meet and greets, premium seats and exclusive sound checks.
Dining: Exclusive events at the nation’s top food festivals and cardholder-only dinners featuring collaborations from chefs of Michelin-starred restaurants.
Capital One said examples of other exclusive experiences involved the iHeartRadio Music Festival, Capital One Orange Bowl, the College Football National Championship, James Beard Foundation events and Michelin Guide culinary events.
According to Capital One, it will continue to add events that are exclusive to its customers, including those for which Capital One is a corporate sponsor.
How does Capital One Entertainment work?
Redemption rates differ by credit card rewards currency.
For example, reward miles can be redeemed for 0.8 cent, meaning a $100 ticket costs 12,500 miles. Rewards cash can be redeemed for $1. So, $100 in rewards is redeemable for a $100 ticket.
The amount of rewards needed varies depending on the tickets and event you choose, a spokesperson said.
For some events, you also have the option to buy tickets using a combination of rewards and spending on your Capital One credit card.
