Southwest Plus and Priority Credit Cards Boost Bonuses [Limited Time]

For a limited time, the Chase-issued Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card and the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card are boosting their sign-up bonuses for new cardholders.

From Sept. 12 to Oct. 9, 2024, new applicants for each card can get the following: Earn 85,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.

NerdWallet values Southwest miles at 1.5 cents, which makes this offer worth around $1,275 — a more than $500 increase from the cards’ prior offer. Previously, new holders of each card could earn 50,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 on purchases in the first three months.

Note that the welcome offer for the third Southwest consumer credit card, the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card, remains unchanged. The card already earns an elevated 85,000 bonus points for new applicants who qualify.
