Autolist aggregates vehicle listings from other online car shopping marketplaces, giving its users access to plenty of options. On the app, you can find both new- and used-car listings from dealers, get price drop and new listing alerts, and access helpful price comparison tools. Make sure to also check out the Autolist website, which offers car reviews and car-buying guides not found on the app.
This app is best for: individuals looking for a wide range of new- and used-car listings at varying price points.
What is Autolist?
Autolist is an online car shopping platform that compiles used- and new-car listings from major used-car websites and apps. The company was founded in 2014 and acquired in 2020 by CarGurus, which has its own car-buying app. According to Autolist, there are more than 5 million listings from dealers on its platform.
Autolist and other car-buying apps offer an easy way to browse through thousands of new- and used-car listings from big online retailers like CarMax and Carvana as well as local dealers (some include listings from individual sellers, too). Many of the top car-buying apps feature robust inventory, access to vehicle history reports and competitive pricing tools.
