Best Caesars Hotels in Las Vegas for All Types of Travelers

With over 50 hotels and casinos, Caesars Entertainment is the largest gaming company in the world. You’ve probably heard of its flagship property in Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, but the corporation owns several well-known brands, including Harrah’s, Horseshoe and Tropicana, among others.
Caesars may not have as many luxury properties as some of its competitors, but it makes up for that by offering tremendous value and a variety of amenities. No matter what type of traveler you are, there should be a property that fits your needs. And to help you make that choice, here are a few best-of options in Las Vegas, each allowing you to earn Caesars Rewards points by staying and playing.
Best for couples: Paris
If you don’t want to travel all the way to France to visit Paris, you can do so right on the Las Vegas Strip, sort of. Complete with a half-scale Eiffel Tower, you’ll still get the romance of the City of Lights, including the upscale shopping and French cuisine, crepes included.
Be sure to book (or ask for) a room that has not only a view of the Eiffel Tower, but also the Bellagio Fountains across the street.
Best for families: Caesars Palace
While Las Vegas has plenty to keep your family busy, Caesars properties are notoriously not kid-friendly, so your choices within the chain are somewhat limited. If you do want to stay at one of their hotels, your best bet is probably Caesars Palace itself.
Outside, there are seven pools, including the Jupiter Pool, which is tailored for kids. Inside, the Forum Shops offer a chance to people-watch in the air-conditioned shopping wing. Be sure to check out the Moving Statues right outside The Cheesecake Factory, one of many family-friendly restaurants.
Runner up: The pool won’t stack up, but across the street from Caesars at The Linq, you’ll find zip lines, a giant ferris wheel and the Linq Promenade, with virtual reality games and light shows.
Best for a weekend with friends: The Cromwell
Looking for a weekend to hang with some friends? Be sure to check out The Cromwell, a boutique, adult-only hotel at the center of the Strip. The upscale rooms and player-friendly casino are nice amenities, but the hotel is best-known for its rooftop Drai’s Beachclub pool party. It's both a place to relax during the day and a nightclub for after hours.
Runners up: If you prefer a budget room for your weekend with friends, you can get no-frills rooms at Bally’s or Flamingo. You’ll get pretty standard amenities at both locations; however, Bally’s typically offers better rates, whereas the Flamingo has a better pool.
Best for pools: Caesars Palace
This one isn’t even close. Caesars Palace has seven pools in its Garden of the Gods area, with something available for everyone. They include an adult-only pool, family-friendly pool and, of course, one with a swim-up blackjack table.
If you’re lucky enough to be an invited guest or VIP, you may have access to the Bacchus Pool, a private pool where you might run into a celebrity or two.
Best for food: Caesars Palace
There are over a dozen restaurants at the enormous Caesars Palace resort, more than enough to satisfy every taste. These span casual options, such as a food court, Starbucks and other fast casual restaurants, and upscale options for a special evening, such as Nobu, Rao’s or Guy Savoy.
And that’s just the hotel itself. In the adjoining Forum Shops, you’ll find another batch of restaurants to choose from.
Best for shows: Planet Hollywood
Planet Hollywood is the first Caesars property that you should look at when thinking about optimizing for attending Las Vegas shows. The 7,000-person Zappos Theater has hosted a lot of music’s leading ladies, including Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Shania Twain and Kelly Clarkson. If your tastes are more metallic, you can also see rockers like The Scorpions and Judas Priest. If magic is more your speed, consider the Criss Angel show at the theater named after him. And if you want something a bit more adult, look to Planet Hollywood for the famous Crazy Girls show.
And remember, you don’t have to stay in a hotel to see a show there, but it may be more convenient to get tickets as a guest than as a non-guest of the property.

Best for gambling: The Cromwell
There are a lot of definitions for best, but The Cromwell stands out for its gambling offerings — it offers a whole floor full of player-friendly games. The 100x craps odds gives players a better edge than standard tables on the Strip, and the casino still offers rarities such as double-deck 3:2 Blackjack and single zero roulette.
However, since it's an upscale hotel, the table limits tend to be higher.
Runner up: If you want lower limits, head over to The Linq for a better chance at finding cheaper tables (but standard odds).
The bottom line
There’s no single best property for every visitor to Sin City, but rather, you need to find the one that offers what you value most. Use the guidelines above to make the best choice for you, your type of trip and the people you’re traveling with.
And remember that you don’t have to book your room where you plan to indulge in all your activities. You can come and go for food, gambling and shows as you please. With Caesars properties mostly located in proximity to one another on the Strip, it is easy to bounce around from your home base casino.
