Las Vegas is full of amazing hotels. Alas, none of the great ones are part of the World of Hyatt program.

In Sin City, there are very few places where World of Hyatt members can earn or redeem points. Options include two Hyatt Place properties — one on Paradise Road and another at Silverton Village — for those not looking for a huge casino resort. And if you do like the casino vibes, there's just one option: Rio Hotel & Casino.

Here's your guide to spending Hyatt points in Las Vegas.

Rio Hotel & Casino is the closest you'll get to a big Las Vegas Strip hotel. Though it's actually located slightly off the Las Vegas Strip, it still channels big Vegas energy. That's due to key amenities like a massive pool complex, a casino and even a mini golf facility. Its entertainment embodies some of the most iconic offerings in Vegas. That includes the Penn & Teller magic show and the Chippendales male revue.

If you don't want a casino but still want to be near the Las Vegas Strip, Hyatt can serve you. Consider the Hyatt Place Las Vegas. This is a Category 3 property, so members can score a redemption night starting at 9,000 points. Plus, the hotel entails free breakfast.

If you want to spend time at the lively Silverton Village but still stay at a Hyatt property, consider the Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village. As a Category 3 hotel, nightly rates starting at 9,000 points.

How to earn World of Hyatt points quickly

World of Hyatt points are easier to earn than you might think. You don’t even have to stay in a hotel to boost your balance. The program has forged a solid number of partnerships with other brands to help Hyatt loyalty program members earn more points to use toward hotel redemptions. Here are some of the best options to help you get to Las Vegas faster.

World Of Hyatt Credit Card
NerdWallet rating
  • World of Hyatt Credit Card: Earn up to 60,000 Bonus Points. Earn 30,000 Bonus Points after you spend $3,000 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening. Plus, up to 30,000 More Bonus Points by earning 2 Bonus Points total per $1 spent in the first 6 months from account opening on purchases that normally earn 1 Bonus Point, on up to $15,000 spent. That’s a lot of points for the $95 annual fee and for purchases that you might normally make anyway.

  • Browse the partnerships: World of Hyatt partnerships allow for points earning. The partnership with American Airlines is particularly intriguing if you hold elite status in AAdvantage and World of Hyatt. After linking your accounts, you can take advantage of reciprocal elite status and earn one World of Hyatt point for every dollar spent on American flights. For frequent fliers, this is a great way to double dip and earn both American and Hyatt miles and points.

  • Transfer points from Chase Ultimate Rewards®. World of Hyatt is a transfer partner with Chase Ultimate Rewards®. This means you can move points from Chase to World of Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio when you are short of points on a redemption.
