Many hotels feature club lounges for guests booking premium rooms or those with hotel elite status. These locations typically feature complimentary breakfast, daily refreshments and evening snacks and drinks. There is also the option for private concierge or reception service as well as a quiet place to work or relax. But some are positioned as a lounge to envy with iconic views.

Here are some of our favorite hotel club lounge offerings where you can earn or redeem points for a stay — all while taking in a fantastic view.

1. Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa

The two towers of this beachfront hotel offer beautiful views, but some of the best are from the terrace of the club lounge here. Guests can purchase access to the lounge along with their room or earn access from their Hyatt elite status. There is also the option to redeem points to enjoy the club lounge’s food, drinks and views.

This Category 5 hotel has standard room rates starting at 17,000 points, with the option to upgrade to the club level with a Club Lounge Access award.

2. Renaissance Sao Paulo Hotel

If you’ve ever heard the term urban jungle, chances are an image of Sao Paulo may come to mind. This panoramic club lounge puts you right in the center of it all — you can enjoy breakfast, evening snacks and all-day refreshments as you tower above many of the city’s skyscrapers.

Marriott Bonvoy’s top elites as well as those that book rooms with club lounge access can visit the lounge.

3. InterContinental London Park Lane

Facing Hyde Park, this elegant hotel has stunning views from many guest rooms, but also from its club lounge. From there, you can see the Thames River, Big Ben and the London Eye. IHG One Rewards Platinum and Diamond Elite members can choose club lounge access as one of their Milestone Rewards options. Guests can also buy access to the lounge or book a room that comes with lounge perks.

IHG One Rewards uses a dynamic pricing model, which means redemption rates vary by date.

4. The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park

Fresh from a total renovation, this club lounge has opened to acclaim, partially for its service, but also for its exquisite Central Park vistas.

Beyond the five food and beverage offerings each day, there are special ones, including a weekly champagne and caviar event, spirits tasting and food sourced from local purveyors.

5. Hilton Quebec

Some travelers may not realize that they are looking directly toward the Parliament Building from this privileged vantage point at the Hilton Quebec. From the club lounge, visitors to Quebec will see where the province’s official business takes place. This high-floor club lounge serves breakfast, all-day refreshments and evening snacks.

Hilton Honors follows a dynamic pricing system for points redemptions with the amount needed changing by date.

6. The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo

What more could you ask for than a harpist during afternoon tea with Mount Fuji perfectly framed in the distance? This 53rd-floor panoramic lounge is known for its impeccable service and all-day food and beverage options. Special events include a cheese night with premium varieties as well as made-to-order breakfast and special dishes.

At Ritz-Carlton properties, top Marriott Bonvoy elites don't receive complimentary access, but anyone can pay for a club level room or upgrade to the club lounge experience.

7. Hyatt Regency Cologne

Guests will have no problem spotting the city’s famous cathedral from the club lounge of the Hyatt Regency Cologne. This Category 4 hotel has standard room rates starting at 12,000 points with the option to upgrade to the club level with a Club Lounge Access award.

The hotel has great views of the Rhine River and Old Town; it is also within walking distance of the main train station.

8. Sheraton Waikiki

The Leahi Lounge is on the 30th floor of this well-positioned hotel, facing Diamond Head and one of the most famous beaches in the U.S. From here, you can post on Instagram while also enjoying breakfast. Guests can gain access through Marriott Bonvoy elite status, by booking a premium category room or paying an upgrade fee.

The rewards program now uses dynamic pricing, which means it is harder to determine how many points are needed for a redemption night.

9. Conrad Shanghai

Up on 44, where the city’s skyline unfurls before you, guests have unending views of The Bund from the executive lounge. Recognizable landmarks include the Shanghai World Financial Center and Nanjing Road, and at night, the scenery dazzles with colorful lights.

10. The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago

Up on the 15th floor, this lounge has stunning views of the city skyline, the Magnificent Mile and Lake Michigan. From here, guests can enjoy multiple food and beverage options (including alcoholic drinks) as well as a place to work or relax. Access is similar to other Ritz-Carlton hotels around the world.

Club lounge views are part of the benefit

When staying in a club-level room or gaining access through elite status, the view from a hotel club lounge can be just as much a part of the experience as the food, beverages and service. This collection is but a handful — there are countless amazing club lounges around the world, many of which have excellent views.
