Joe Yerardi uses data to tell stories about our economy and its effects on people's personal finances. Before joining the NerdWallet team, he held data journalism positions at the Center for Public Integrity in Washington, D.C., at Inewsource in San Diego and at the San Antonio Express-News. He earned undergraduate degrees at New York University and a master’s in journalism at the University of Missouri. When not at work, Joe enjoys working out, traveling, reading (biographies and histories, in particular) and rooting for Boston sports teams. He's based in Washington, D.C.
