Chase is turning up the heat with a limited-time offer for new Chase Ink Business Preferred cardholders: Earn 120,000 bonus points when you spend $8,000 in the first three months from account opening.

That’s an additional 20,000 points on top of the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card’s standard welcome offer, which was already one of the best business credit card sign-up bonuses on the market.

Combine the Ink Business Preferred’s stellar limited-time bonus offer with the card’s ongoing rewards — 3 points per $1 on the first $150,000 spent on travel and select business categories — and it’s hard to make a case against this business credit card.

How much is the Chase Ink Business Preferred welcome offer worth?

Chase Ultimate Rewards® points earned with the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card are worth 1.25 cents when redeemed through Chase Travel℠. That means the Ink Business Preferred’s new sign-up bonus of 120,000 points is worth $1,500 when cashed in via the travel portal.

You can squeeze even more value out of the Ink Business Preferred’s limited-time offer by transferring points to one of Chase’s many travel partners.

Should you get the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card?

If you’ll spend enough to snag the limited-time bonus, adding the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card to your wallet is a no-brainer. The card delivers outsized value thanks to its low annual fee (for a travel card) and high rewards rate.

You’ll also earn 3X points on the first $150,000 in combined annual spending in the following categories:

  • Travel

  • Shipping.

  • Internet, cable and telephone services.

  • Advertising purchases with social media sites and search engines.

If your expenses don’t align with the bonus categories, or you don’t think you’ll hit the spending requirement for the welcome offer, consider another business travel card.

The U.S. Bank Business Altitude™ Connect World Elite Mastercard® is a solid alternative. The card’s bonus offer is smaller than the Ink Business Preferred’s but easier to attain, especially for smaller businesses.

  • Sign-up bonus: Limited Time Offer: Earn 60,000 bonus points, worth $600 if you spend $6,000 on the Account Owner's card in the first 180 days from account opening.

  • Rewards: Earn 5X points on prepaid hotels and car rentals booked directly in the Rewards Center. Earn 4X points on travel, gas and EV charging stations* on the first $150,000 in combined annual spend (*excludes discount stores/supercenters and wholesale clubs). Earn 2X points on dining, takeout, restaurant delivery and cell service providers. Earn 1X points on all other eligible spend.

  • Annual fee: $0 intro for the first year, then $95.

Another option: The Capital One Spark Miles for Business, which earns a flat 2X miles on all spending (plus 5X miles on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel).

  • Sign-up bonus: Earn a one-time bonus of 50,000 miles – equal to $500 in travel – once you spend $4,500 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening.

  • Rewards: Earn unlimited 2X miles per dollar on every purchase, everywhere, no limits or category restrictions, and miles won't expire for the life of the account. Unlimited 5X per dollar miles on hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel.

  • Annual fee: $0 intro for the first year, then $95. See rates and fees.
